A day of networking and media events today in Milan, as our Scientific Officer Massimiliano Oliveri, our CEO Laurent Vandebrouck and Business Developer Enrica De Cecco attended an invite-only meeting organized in Milan by Susanna Messaggio, a well-known journalist of the Italian television and brain health advocate.

The event’s goal was to raise awareness among specialized media and health journalists of the importance of brain health, and to get them acquainted with some of the newest technologies in therapy options.

Both Massimiliano Oliveri and Laurent Vandebrouck addressed the audience with compelling arguments for the urgency of care of cognitive disorders. Professor Oliveri, in particular, presented the latest published evidence about MindLenses Professional, our innovative digital therapy for post-stroke care and ADHD Intervention.

On the same day, we attended Wired Health 2024, a networking event organized on the occasion of Wired’s new issue, which is entirely dedicated to the brain.

At Wired Health, we had the pleasure of meeting with other innovative players of the Italian health tech space, many of which are adjacent to our work in cognitive rehabilitation: serious games, artificial intelligence, telemedicine and robotics were all themes we could discuss together and find many shared interests.

The Italian Minister of Health, the president of Fondazione Gimbe – the most important national organization for evidence in medicine – and of the IRCCS Istituto Mario Negri – one of the leading experts in medical device regulations – were also present at the event, giving us the opportunity to further understand the sinergies between innovative companies and the wider healthcare system – especially within the context of PNRR, the EU-backed post-Covid recovery and resilience intervention program.

The event, which was explicitly dedicated to digital technologies for health, was co-organized with large pharma players, such as AstraZeneca and Angelini, looking for opportunities in the digital health space as medicine becomes more data-powered, more connected, and more personalized.
